Internet functioning again in Mainland China

Postby julien » Mon Jan 01, 2007 7:27 pm

Hello all,

Due to the earthquake in Taiwan a week ago or so, undersea cables were cut and the access to websites outside China was impossible during those days. It seems to be working almost fine again, at least better. I'm going to catch up with the posts and all.

I'm sorry to hear that; in addition to missing one of our most experienced math people, those cables are darn expensive to repair, or so I understand.

It's good to have you back!
