### Question about a calculator button

I know the purpose of all the function on my scientific calculator except this:

It's the highlighted one with the dot and three commas. What does it do?

perhaps degrees minutes seconds.

Put in 62.55 and press the button, tell me what you get,

Ok.

1st press: same number, 62.55
2nd press: 63.5925
3rd press: 63.61016...
4rth press: same
5th press: 64.67033...
6th press: 64.68829...
7th press: same

Every two operations it returns the same number (or does not operate?).

What do you make out of it?

I'm stumped, but i have seen this calculator before...it's a casio...am i right?

It converts numbers to Sexagesimal (base 60). What you initially suggested.
