Fill the blank : Mass density of liquid = Relative density of liquid X .......
answer : X Relative gravity

2 ) what is the density of the fluid , if the relative density of fluid is 3.2 ?

Answer :
weight = density X gravity
gravity = 3.2 X 100 = 320

3 ) which of the following is the density of 2m^3 of oil , if its weight is 10 N ?
A . 0.509 kg/m^3
B)5 N/m^3
C ) 0.509N/m^3

Answer :

volume = 2
weight = 10 convet = 1.0197 kg

density = 1.0197 / 2 = 5.09X 10^-1

1.) From we then find:

2.)

3.) I am assuming we want mass density, because weight density would simply be option B).

The relative density or specific gravity of a fluid is the ratio of the mass density of the fluid to the mass density of the reference fluid, which unless specified is taken to be water at 3.98° C. Thus the mass density of a fluid is the relative density of the fluid times the mass density of the reference fluid.
